1. Current advertising policy
As of August 2026, Emberfall Chronicles does not display third-party advertising, run sponsored content, or participate in affiliate marketing programs. We do not earn commission from links to game stores, hardware retailers, or crowdfunding campaigns.
If we introduce advertising or affiliate links in the future, this page will be updated and a notice will be posted on the homepage. Any sponsored content will be clearly labelled "Sponsored" or "Advertisement" at the top of the article.
2. Review copies and access
Publishers or developers occasionally provide review codes, beta access, or event invitations. We disclose these relationships on the relevant review page. Receipt of a review copy does not guarantee coverage, and it never guarantees a positive score.
3. No paid rankings
We do not accept payment for placement in lists, rankings, or "best of" features. Our editorial calendar is determined by our staff, not by commercial partners.
4. Independence statement
Emberfall Editorial is independently owned. No game publisher, platform holder, or technology company holds equity, editorial control, or a seat on our board. Our funding comes from the founding team and, potentially in the future, reader subscriptions or merchandise.
